I Peter. 4:1-11, Mark 12:28-37
A scribe asked the Lord: What is the first all command? The Lord replied: Love the Lord your God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these (Mark 12:28, 30-31). This also serves as a complement to the representation of the hidden man of the heart. Sanctify the Lord is his mind, and love her soul, and all other virtues are its individual members, arms, legs, eyes, ears, tongue. Remember this is very necessary, because sometimes, considering that doing good is virtue final, people think they can get away with just this, without thinking of the Lord, and Forgetting love. Do good without faith and desire to please God, is not holy, it's like a house that was not blessed, or a room without icons.
Without Love doing good is like a building filled with sculptures dead, succumbing to mold and musty. Beware that each of you, and enterprising create a new person in yourself, try to place it before the Lord, Who is without fault.
