excuses!

Excuses for not doing what God asks us

When God calls us to a service point or a department, it happens that we invoke all kinds of excuses to justify our refusal to obey. Some servants of God have done this, for example:

Read Exodus 3 v 11 & 12: Moses answered God, "Who am I? "It takes
perhaps someone of no importance ... But God says" I'd be with you. " Ex
4 v 10 to 12: Then he adds: "I am not a man that has the word easy ..." He relies
weakness, disability.

Answer of God: "Who gave mouth to humans? And who makes dumb or deaf, seeing or blind? Is not I the LORD? Go on now is I who am with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say. "
Ex 4 v 13 to 15: Moses said: "Ah! Lord, send whom thou wilt send.
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and said: Is there no there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. "
God sends Moses still on a mission, but it gives him a teammate who will speak in his place.

Judges 6 v 14-16: The Lord turned to him and said, "Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of Midian, is not I who sent you? "
Gideon replied," Ah! My Lord, with what I save Israel? Here is my family is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the smallest in the house of my father. " The Lord said, "But I'll be with you" ...
Gideon pleads poverty of his family, and the fact that he is the youngest, and God promises his presence.

Isaiah 6 v 1-8: He (Isaiah ) Said "I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
But the one of the seraphim flew to me, (standing) in his hand a live coal which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth and said: This has touched your lips your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for. "
I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? I answered: Here am I. Send me. "
Isaiah thinks he can not speak from God as sin. The solution is grace. The ember that has touched his lips comes from the altar of burnt offering which is consumed the sacrifices which prefigured the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Then it is ready to obey.

Jeremiah 1 v 4-10: "The word of the LORD came to me saying,
Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you and before you come out of it, I told you I spent thee a prophet to the nations. I replied: Oh! O Lord! I do not know to speak, because I am a young boy.
And the Lord said to me: Do not say I am a young boy. For thou shalt go to all those against whom I send thee, and thou declare all that I command you. Do not fear for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.
Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth, and the LORD said, Behold I have put my words in thy mouth. "
Jeremiah is too young to serve the Lord, but God can use us regardless of our age.

to us too, he promised his presence, then obey ...

Matthew 28 v 18-20: And Jesus came and spake unto them thus: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on earth. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you daily until the end of the world. "

Prayer

General

Matthew 6 v 5-9: Let us penetrate us to see if there is still religious hypocrisy in us, because the Lord has this in horror. Face to face alone (e) with God is the most important practice of the prayer life of the disciple of Jesus Christ. It is worth repeating the same phrases as the Gentiles. Our Father knows our needs, but he wants us to express our queries.

Mat 15 v 8 & 9: God says: "This people honor me with lip service, but deep in his heart, he is far from Me! The cult that makes me worthless, because the lessons it provides are merely rules invented by men. "

Mat 18 v 19 & 20: Next comes community prayer, where it is necessary to reach an agreement before praying. If we are integrated in the person of Christ, we know He is in our midst.

Mark 11 v 38: Prayer is a good way to resist temptation.

Luke 18 v 1-8: God does not always hears us the first time, but He sometimes feels to know what is in our heart, so the examples of the widow and soldier on, but taking into account the conditions below.

Romans 8 v 26 & 27: The Spirit of God dwelleth in us his children, helps us to pray.
1 Corinthians 7 v 5: Prayer of the torque is essential to preserve its unity.

1 Corinthians 11 v 4 & 5: The brothers must find their heads to pray in public, but the sisters have to cover it. Are we willing to obey the Lord even in the smallest details? (If you want to learn more about this, ask me a story).

Philippians 4 v 6: Anxiety is the opposite of faith, we can expose all our needs to our dear heavenly Father who knows better than us what we really need.

Hebrews 4 v 16: We are exhorted to approach the Lord, so why keep us away. He wants to establish with his children a deep and intimate relationship.

Requirements to be fulfilled

Mark 11 v 23 & 24: Make full trust in God like a little child does to its parents. If we lack faith, we can ask God (in faith). This text should not be taken out of context, but it must be also has other conditions. (See also Jacques 1 v 5-8)

Mark 11 v 25 & 26: Giving up all the bad feelings and all the bad thoughts that we have against our neighbor, and forgive. Otherwise, God will not forgive us and hear us.

John 15 v 7: Abiding in Christ is to say, living in communion with Him, to identify with him, and his words abide in us (read the Bible every day).
John 15 v 16: We have to go to the Father, but in the name of his Son, that is to say, by identifying ourselves to Him (because someone's name is the person himself).

Jacques 4 v 3: In its wisdom our good Father does not hear us when we want to satisfy our carnal passions. The Greek word translated as "passion" is the one who gave the word "hedonism (pleasure).

1 Peter 3 v 7: For those who are married, it is essential to be in good standing with his spouse.
1 John 3 v 21 & 22: Have consciousness purified by the blood of Christ. Being obedient to all commands of the Lord, and live in purity (Psalm 66 v 18).

1 John 5 v 14 & 15: Before asking something, we must ensure that it is the will of God, that is to say according to His Word ...

May God make us real men and women of prayer.

Occultism

Occultism (or parapsychology)

Practices dark, dark, esoteric in which someone has a conscious or unconscious contact, temporary or permanent, with a demon (evil spirit, fallen angel) to give or else receive assistance by a supernatural power.

Origin:

is in Babylon (Babel in Hebrew), was born in the occult, there are over 4000 years. Isaiah 47 verses 12 to 15
Here is what God says: "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery (1), astrologer ( 2), auspicious (3), Wizard (4), Enchanter (5), who consults the spirits (6), or tell fortunes (7), who interrogates the dead (8).
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD. " Deuteronomy 18 verses 10 to 12.

What does this mean?

1. Diviners (or LEDs) have the ability to guess by clairvoyance and (or) by a magic ritual, and predict the future. They may also: • Read
thoughts (telepathy)
• Discover or identify objects hidden
• Guess by means of writing (graphology divination). • Have
premonitory dreams.

2 - Astrologers attribute to the stars influence events or the fate of men. Have faith in astrology is: • Getting
establish his horoscope to know his future or his character
• Being dependent on the horoscope in the newspapers, radio, internet ....
• Consider the signs of the zodiac (believing that one), or position of the moon.

3 - augurs attribute to certain objects, signs or events, a power over our lives (superstition):
• The lucky: knock on wood, horseshoes, four leaf clover, medals (blank, St. Kitts, zodiac), crosses, fetishes, charms, amulets, rosaries, holy water, water from Lourdes, burn a candle, etc. ...
• The unlucky: crossing a black cat, or the number 13 another, walking under a ladder, break a mirror, opening an umbrella in the house, etc. ...

4 - Magicians (white magic) involve supernatural forces (healer, hypnotist, hypnotist, dowser).
• Healing by the recitation of "prayers", or magic formulas, the imposition of hands, hypnosis (relaxation therapy), the pendulum, photos, locks of hair, etc ... •
healing by "sympathy" (taking on the disease itself)
• Alchemy •
"remove a spell" or "exorcism"

5 - Enchanters (Black magic), manipulate objects or people by spells or spells.
• Sell your soul to the devil. • Witchcraft
to protect themselves, get revenge, or send a disease to kill someone at a distance.
• Invocation of Satan (the devil, the serpent, the dragon) or a demon. • Covenants
blood, black masses, animal sacrifice and human beings.

6 - The spiritualists are seeking to make contact with spirits: • Some
spin glasses or tables, practicing levitation or telekinesis (moving objects without touching)
• Others go into a trance and walk on hot coals , speak unintelligible languages (glossolalia) or do automatic writing
• You can also get in touch with the demons through yoga (Sanskrit word which means union), meditation, mantras, mandalas, astral travel, the absorption of drugs or alcohol.

7 - The reciters of "fortune" predict the future by using: •
ordinary maps, tarot, palmistry, crystal ball, coffee, etc ...

8 - The Necromancers evoke the dead. Many mediums are: they act as intermediaries between the living and the dead
• Praying the dead (saints, the Virgin) is also an act of necromancy. Mass for the souls in purgatory.

One mediator is :

Jesus Christ (the first letter to Timothy chapter 2 verse 5).
Whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord the Bible says
And again: "You will not engage in occult practices ... Do not look to those who have familiar spirits, nor those who predict the future, not not look for them, lest ye be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God "Leviticus chapter 19 verses 26 and 31
But:" Many of those who believed came and confessed, and they did. and a number of those who had exercised with the magic brought their books, burned them in front of everyone "Acts of the Apostles chapter 18 verse 18 and 19
All this prepares the ground for the establishment of world government (see article on this topic ), which will be headed by the Anti-Christ. It will work miracles and wonders by the extraordinary power of Satan to impress the world. 2 Thessalonians 2 v 9-12.

Why this attraction the occult?

dissatisfied Lord, man is constantly in search of solutions to overcoming his physical deficiencies and spiritual. He wants to know the future because he lives in the insecurity of our world. His fear sharpens his curiosity, his desire of mystery and supernatural. Its emptiness must be filled at any price and he sold everything he sees or hears.

Friend, the Author of all life can alone satisfy and fill your whole being. God has placed in every human heart the thought of eternity, while leaving it free. Man rejects God. Yet God is the real answer to humanity. He alone can free you from your fears because he loves you. His gaze falls on you in this moment you read this. While the word "LOVE" has no meaning in this world that runs its bankruptcy, God loves us and has everything to us.

The Lord Jesus Christ defeated the devil and demons by His death on the cross and resurrection. Colossians 2 v 15. He rescues the captives as we have many examples in the Gospels. The devil, demons and witches have no power over a child of God, that is to say someone who is born again.

How?

God has a word, it is eternal. Everything he says is true. He has predicted everything is done to the letter. He performs all his promises. All we ask only one thing: acknowledge our failure, ask forgiveness and believe that He has provided for our salvation in Jesus Christ. Put not your trust in men. Search for the Truth in God himself and what he says in the Bible. Read the story of the Gospels. You find one you loved as to give his life for you. By His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ triumphed over death and hell and He delivers them from all occult practices to give you the real life in abundance.

IDENTITY IN CHRIST

For Hebrew the father or fathers who give identity to children. In Christ I become a son or daughter of God. My roots are in Him.

as'identifier We tend to someone we admire, for example (a) singer, actor, athlete, a guru, or so, an idol inert.

Instead of saying "Who am I?", Say "Who am I the son (or daughter)?". In Christ, I know who I am. God wanted me to be elected, wanted, dedicated, loved and created in a single.

Who am I? : A Child of God, John 1 v 12. The salt of the earth, Matthew 5 v 13. The light of the world, Matt 5 v 14. A witness of Christ, Acts 1 v 8. Heir of God, Romans 8 v 17. The temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 3 v 16. Citizen of heaven, Ephesians 2 v 6. Just and holy, Eph 4 v 24. Chosen and beloved of God, Colossians 3 v 12 ...

Why do I exist? Simply because God willed it, that's what we are told in Jacques 1 v 17 & 18.

Do not say "I think therefore I am" but "God thinks of me, therefore I am." Job 34 v 14 & 15.

John 14 v 1: The verb "believe" in the ancient languages means "Adhere, stick", not "assume", as in French (eg I think it will be fine tomorrow). So believe in Jesus Christ means: Being one with Him.

Romans 6 v 5-11: The same plant, that is to say, be one with Christ.

1 Corinthians 13 v 8-12: Currently, our knowledge of God is partial.

Galatians 2 v 20: This is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me. Can you say that?

Ephesians 2 v 4-7: Sitting in Christ in heavenly places, that is the spiritual position of the true Christian.

Eph 2 v 19: We are no longer strangers and outsiders ...

Philippians 1 v 19-21: "Christ is my life! "What an honor and privilege to be able to proclaim it.

Philippians 3 v 4-9: Is what we look like garbage (mud, manure) compared with Jesus Christ?

Colossians 3 v 1-4: We are risen with Christ.

3 v 9-11: Christ is all in all.

2 Thessalonians 1 v 9 and 10: The Lord be glorified in his saints and admired in all them that believe.

Hebrews 1 v 3: The word translated as "expression of his being" (NASB) is: "Karakter". God reproduces those identified with his Son, the perfect character of Christ.

Apocalypse 2 v 17: The new name is to say the real name of the elect, which will define exactly who will carry it.

Being adopted and justified Christ has restored my identity in Him:

- I belong to God, I am no longer rejected.

- I value, I have no shame.

- I have insurance, I dominate reality.

- I am strong I am weaker.

To God alone are due all the praise, honor and glory!

Psalm 107

PSALM OF ISSUE

Psalm 107 is for all the redeemed. The first words sound like an obvious need to meditate and enjoy with humility and love: " Praise the Lord for He is good: for his mercy endures forever! "

INTRODUCTION

The Lord is not indifferent to the plight of human suffering that is external or internal, and He delivers those who cry to him. This psalm makes us remember the state we were before he reveals himself to us and we accept it as a savior in the person of Jesus Christ. The Lord is worthy to be praised constantly for the wonders he displays in favor of men.

This psalm is structured, then around four human situations lived away from the Lord and then ends with a conclusion which describes the sovereignty, power, goodness of the Almighty.

wandering verse 1-9

In this passage describes the men who live a life devoid of meaning, and know the frustration and disgust. They are hungry and thirsty, they wander like lost souls, they are weary and tired, their life is barren, "we had all gone astray like sheep, each following its own path. "Is 53: 6. Then these men cry unto the Lord, who hears and delivers them from their anxieties and leads them on track when life has meaning, where they can relax, safe.

CAPTIVITY verse 10-16

When men refuse to hear the word of God and turn away from its laws, they fall into darkness, and are far from God's light. They are chained to their sins, the occult, false gods ... These men are rebelling against God and despise his advice. So God in his infinite love, humiliate them to save them. "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light on those who lived land of the shadow of death, a light shines. "Es 9: 1.

This light is Jesus Christ who takes away the sins and gives eternal life redeemed. The only issue comes from God, we can not expect anything good from the gurus, monks, talkers, and false prophets. Only God can deliver us from all these links are occultism, bad habits, the pollutions of the world that makes men prisoners often because of their pride. The Lord frees us from the slavery of sin: "For freedom Christ has set us free. Therefore keep standing firm and do not be put back under the yoke of slavery. 'Gal 5: 1.

the sins of verse 17 to 22

Fools, responsible for sins committed serious errors that increase their awareness, they sometimes find shelter in suicidal feelings, depression or other forms of psychic disorganization . When finally the men aware of their condition, wake up and realize the seriousness of their mistakes in their misery they cried unto the LORD: "As long as I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day [ ...] I have acknowledged my sin [...] and You forgave the guilt of my sin. "Psalm 32: 4-5.

So God sends His Word to heal because she is "living and active," "sharp" and "it judges the thoughts and intents of the heart" Hebrews 4: 12. And this Word is Jesus Christ heals and saves them from death, they escape to the psalmist speaks false. God then asked the men bought in verse 22 of Psalm 107, testifying to their issue so that others after them, enjoy freedom and life.

THE DISTRESS IN THE DANGERS of verse 23 to 32

In this passage it comes to those who rely on human wisdom on the property, the social success to forget their anguish, the emptiness of their lives, their superficiality. They are busy, they multiply travel, business and labor, they do not count their hours and collect a lot of money. They believe controlling happiness but when it comes to disillusionment and fall, their lives are like restless waves, with moments of calm and tumult as in a storm. When these men finally stumble when they finally realize they can not help themselves when they invoke God's power because they are powerless and helpless.

For nothing is impossible with God who commands the wind and the sea (Job 38: 11) as we showed our Lord Jesus Christ, who calmed the storm. (Mark 4: 39) Then the quiet life back, like a rebirth, the soul finally find peace and God led the redeemed into His kingdom, "desired haven" in "safe haven. "

CONCLUSION verse 33-43

All testimonials charge of sadness and darkness on the large open liberating light of Jesus Christ. God is powerful, sovereign, and just He cares for us, and increases its people, multiply, and blessed, and protects it from its enemies. It turns out to those who fear him and love to those who cry to Him, and He gives grace to the humble. "God is great, but greatness eludes us" Job 36: 26.

God reveals himself to man through Jesus Christ and His power is beyond us, dazzles us. He spreads his mercy because He loves us, He delivers us and saves us, He is the Almighty. He is sovereign over all creation, He blessed or cursed the earth and man.

Consider the grace of the Lord do not ignore it, do not despise. "Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is Jesus Christ" 2 Tim 2: 1. "Teach me to do your will! For Thou art my God. Let your good Spirit lead me on the right track! "Psalm 143: 10. God's will is that Jesus Christ comes into our hearts and transforms man into a child of light: "It changes the wilderness a pool and the dry land springs of water. "For God is all powerful, He be praised forever and that we forget to love it.

IMPLICATIONS IN OUR LIVES

Be thankful at all times and aware of love and benevolence of God towards us. Let us not be ungrateful and forgetful because we can cry to God to make known our needs, He is the ideal Father who corrects, soothes, comforts and rewards.

Mark 16 verses 15 & 16: "Go into all the world ..." Any genuine Christian, even if not evangelist should have lost the vision of the world.

Acts 1 verse 8: All those who received the Holy Spirit bear witness to Jesus Christ. By the way we live and our words of wisdom and compassion. The testimony is not a gift, but it is to tell people what the Lord has done for us.

Evangelist:

Luke 4 v 18 & 19: Jesus is the Evangelist perfect, it is itself the subject of the Good News. We preach Jesus Christ crucified and risen.

Acts 8 v 5-12: Philip the Evangelist is typical of the New Testament: with the Samaritans in public or in private (personal contact) with a minister Africa. Acts 8 v 26 to 38. He has the gift of evangelist. Acts 26 v 8.

Acts 20 v 20 & 21: Do not hide the message of God, (in public and private). Do not forget to mention eternal damnation.

2 Corinthians 11 v 4: Beware of false gospels (conversion without repentance, conversion sentimental prosperity Gospel ... )

Conclusion:

Although we are not evangelical, we should all have the burden of lost souls, and show us around. We can also pray for evangelists and missionaries, encourage, support them and welcome them when they are passing through our city or village.

Let all the earth be filled with knowledge of the LORD! Amen.

ANOINTING

Mashiah (Hebrew) = Christos (Greek) Anointed = (French), that is to say
one who received the sacred anointing oil on his head.
Words Messiah, Christ, or Anointed are synonymous.
oil represents the Holy Spirit.

Who received the anointing in the Old Testament?

Priests (or priests), descendants of Aaron - Exodus 29 v 4-9 + Psalm 133 v 2.
Prophets, spokesperson of God - 1 Kings 19 v 15 & 16.
Kings - 1 Samuel 10 v 1 + 2 Kings 11 v 12.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect leader
The anointing of Jesus Christ - Psalm Hebrews 45 v 1 v 8 + 8 & 9.
He is the Priest (High Priest) - Hebrews 4 v 14-16.
He is the King of Kings - John 18 v 36 and 37 + Apocalypse 19 v 16.
He is the Prophet announced by Moses - Deuteronomy 18 v 18 + Acts 3 v 22, the Word (LOGOS) incarnate - John 1 v 14.

The people of the new covenant
We are anointed by the Holy Spirit when He comes to us (born again). We no longer use oil as in the OT because it is God himself who anointed us with His Spirit - 2 Corinthians 1 v 21 & 22 + 1 John 2 v 20.

This makes us:
priests in the service of God - 1 v Apocalypse 6.
Spokesmen for God (the meaning of the word prophet in Greek) - 1 Peter 2 v 9 & 10 + Apocalypse 19 v 10.
Called to reign during the millennium - Apocalypse 20 v 6, and the new creation, because the Lord wants us to participate in his reign - Apo 22 v 5 + 2 Timothy 2 v 11 & 12.

The devil can not create, but he can imitate what God does:
There are false Christ - Matthew 24 v 5, and the Anti-Christ - Apocalypse 13 (see review on this subject).

What a great privilege to belong to the people of God!
Have you received His anointing?
