For Hebrew the father or fathers who give identity to children. In Christ I become a son or daughter of God. My roots are in Him.
as'identifier We tend to someone we admire, for example (a) singer, actor, athlete, a guru, or so, an idol inert.
Instead of saying "Who am I?", Say "Who am I the son (or daughter)?". In Christ, I know who I am. God wanted me to be elected, wanted, dedicated, loved and created in a single.

Why do I exist? Simply because God willed it, that's what we are told in Jacques 1 v 17 & 18.

John 14 v 1: The verb "believe" in the ancient languages means "Adhere, stick", not "assume", as in French (eg I think it will be fine tomorrow). So believe in Jesus Christ means: Being one with Him.

Hebrews 1 v 3: The word translated as "expression of his being" (NASB) is: "Karakter". God reproduces those identified with his Son, the perfect character of Christ.
Apocalypse 2 v 17: The new name is to say the real name of the elect, which will define exactly who will carry it.
Being adopted and justified Christ has restored my identity in Him:
- I belong to God, I am no longer rejected.
- I value, I have no shame.
- I have insurance, I dominate reality.
- I am strong I am weaker.
To God alone are due all the praise, honor and glory!
