In Greek EKKLESIA Assembly, community, congregation, gathering, meeting ... In the Bible, this word never refers to a building land).
Doctrine:
Matthew 16 v 18 The Lord Jesus Christ is the architect, the builder, the foundation and the owner. The church is his work and his property.
1 Corinthians 12 v 12 & 13 It is compared to a body, each member is a disciple, and Jesus is the head (same word count). It is through the baptism of the Holy Spirit that we become members of the assembly (see the paper on this subject).
Ephesians 2 v 19-22 The true church of Jesus Christ is the temple (or house) of God on earth. The temple stone dead in Jerusalem no longer exists.
Ephesians 4 v 1-16 The unity of the church is only possible on the basis of these 7 key points.
Ephesians 5 v 22-33 The church is the bride follower of Jesus Christ (as opposed to a prostitute).
1 Peter 2 v 1-10 We're home (or family) of God, and we are His priests (or priests) exercising the priesthood (priests serving).
1 Timothy 3 v 1-7 The former (or supervisors) exercise authority in matters of doctrine and discipline in local assemblies. They must obviously be subject to God.
1 Timothy 3 v 8-13 The servants and maids (or deacons) assist elders.
Practice:
Acts 2 v 41-47 Jerusalem, the first local assembly, can be an example to be followed today.
Acts 4 v 32-35 Unity in Christ and fraternal sharing.
Acts 11 v 19-30 Antioch, a church having a good proportion of newly converted pagan origin has become a missionary church.
Acts 13 v 1-3 depart first sent (or missionaries). Every meeting should send missionaries, pray for them and support them financially.
Acts 14 v 21-28 Appointment of Elders, elected by each local assembly. There are always many.
They must be trained and qualified according to 1 Timothy 3 v 1-7.
They have different gifts (Berger, teachers ...), but are models for the flock.
Acts 16 v 4 & 5 Growth in quality (love, wisdom, knowledge, holiness ...) and quantity is the will of God. A church that is mature adult to say, becomes a mother church, and thus multiplies.
Obstacles to Growth: Warmth, drowsiness, false doctrines, ignorance of the Will of God, love of the world, laziness, selfishness, individualism, sectarianism, tolerance of sin, prayer life poor, no burden for lost souls, no vision of the Body of Christ ... etc.
Romans 16 v 17 to 20 dividers should be put out before it's too late.
1 Corinthians 1 v 10 to 13 denominations and excessive attachment to a servant are a cause of division and weakening of the church. Let Christians spiritual.

Ephesians 4 v 7-16 ministries that God gives for growth.

Problems affecting the growth of the congregation
Malnutrition: The Word of God is our food, and if we deprive ourselves (personal worship or meetings), we will be weak and sad.
